The need for developing a mental health support website for students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City

This study aims to investigate the needs of students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, for a mental health support website. The study took a quantitative approach, conducting a survey of 106 students. The mental health support website elements model was developed based on the standard questions in the WebQual 4.0 and SERVQUAL integrated model to know students’ needs for the website elements. According to the research findings, most students believe that building a mental health support website is vital. Through studying the demands of mental health support website elements, students are most interested in information; in contrast, students are least interested in website design aspects. In addition, the regular password change request of the website and responsiveness factors are less emphasized than other factors. Overall, most aspects are deemed essential for a mental health support website. The study then proposes several suggestions for developing a mental health support website for students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
