INVESTMENT, a couple. Of silver. The upper part consisting of a circular arc with the right, and the left end optionally flattened, in this a round hole. The lower part is made up of a broken ornament with arcuate hem in the shape of a wide frame, from whose outer edge outgoing six tongue-like lobes, alternating with pointed short odds. On the front of one trout at the bow bracket French fineness stamp. On the back of the bow bracket and on the front of the bracket Arab stamp. Algerian work in Arabic style from the time 1838-1889, master with the initials B Z and a boot. Purchased by Wilhelmina von Hallwyl in March 1889, from an Arab man on the street in Sidi Okba near Biskra, Algeria, on her visit there, along with her husband, mother, her daughter, and the Miss Carolina Pflaum and Ida Uhse during their journey through Algeria and Tunisia and again across Switzerland February - May 1889.
