The process of building a digital educational environment of an educational institution is shown. The most important software of the information system of professional training, which should be in the information and digital educational environment of the educational institution, is highlighted. The necessary conditions and organizational principles of creating an effective digital educational environment of an educational institution are substantiated. The main goals and recommended tasks regarding the formation of a digital educational environment in an educational institution are proposed. An experimental study was conducted to find out the level of digital competence of future specialists and the role of the digital educational environment in the educational institution.
