Irish artist Les Levine studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts, London. He moved to New York in the 1960s, where he became a leading figure in conceptual art. One of the first artists of his generation to work in video and television, he influenced younger experimental artists such as Dan Graham, Gary Hill and Bruce Nauman. Levine’s work has been exhibited worldwide. His ‘Mindful Media: Works from the 1970s’ was shown at IMMA in 2011.
