FEMALE SEXUAL OPPRESSION: A LIBERATION THROUGH ART

[EN] This final degree begins with the aim of showing the oppression to which women are subjected in our society. Analyzing primarily the Middle Ages and the contemporary ages as the basis of the project. Oppression in which the work focuses is the female sexual oppression. Analyzing advertising, films, art and historical real cases. Showing how sexual stereotypes, society, family, politics and th e environment act to increase the pressure on women. I have done several works based on the theme, always with the aim of making visible the consequences of repression and propose a solution, as far as possible. Own production includes works made by differ ent techniques: foundry , off - set lithography, c yanotype and photopolymers. It’ s of critical and figurative; in all allusion to sexuality and womanhood they are. I've done two pieces of brass that refer to the vagina repressed, several garments in papers pr inted with sexist advertising, illustrations concerning vaginas, repressive feelings and finally a shirt with a picture of protest
