Aménagement ou protection du massif vosgien ?

View through CrossRef
If we try to analyse the « Schema d'orientation et d'amenagement du Massif Vosgien » (a regional planning for vosgian mountain) on the point of View of physical geography, we are observing that this document is not sustained by a serious and scientific study of natural environment and of menaces which threa- ten the frailest spaces. A list of positive measures is yet proposed, to avoid an anarchical working of gravel pits, to define a strategy of water utilisation and purification, to limite the multiplication of obstructing resinous woods in the valleys, to preserve the landscape of high meadows above 900 m. Some creations of natural reserves are proposed in threatened sites, but their number remains largely insuffident.
