Effect of polyamidoamine dendrimers in decolorising triarylmethane dye effluent
View through CrossRef
Polyamidoamine dendrimers have been synthesised from ethylenediamine and methyl acrylate and their effectiveness in decolorising wastewater containing Acid Fuchsin and Methyl Blue demonstrated. The effect of variables, such as initial pH, quantity and generation of dendrimer, has been investigated. The experimental results show that under suitable conditions polyamidoamine dendrimers can be highly effective as decolorants.
