Hazrat Hind (R.A.): Status and position

The role of Sahabae-Karam is of special importance in preaching and advancement of Islam. Companionship of Rasool Allah is a great honour is incomparable to any honour and prestige, and even Sahabiyat shared this honour. Hazrat Hind (R.A.) is one of them. After accepting Islam she not only followed shariyat very diligently but also participated in preaching and defending Islam. But the historians did not do justice with her as they restricted her role up to mal-treatment of the corpse of Hazrat Hamza (R.A.) during the Battle of Uhud. It is important that her deeds and service to Islam should be gathered from all authentic history books and she may be given the respect and regard she deserves.
