Mondon le Fils is the same person as François-Thomas Mondon, son of the goldsmith Pasquier Mondon († 1753) and brother of the Pasquier-Remy Mondon (ca. 1712-after 1784). By mistake, identified with a non-existent Jean Mondon. François-Thomas Mondon gets the royal privilege for 12 years on 6 March 1736 (Fuhring 1986, No. 48).
