Post-Zionism

Abstract
Post-Zionism encompasses many disciplines, including history, sociology, cultural studies, literature, and even archaeology, to challenge Israel’s Zionist foundations through scholarship and public advocacy. As a study of the field asserts, ‘postzionism is a term applied to a current set of critical positions that problematize zionist discourse, and the historical narratives and social and cultural representations that it produced’. Questioning what it considers a partisan view of the past, serving Zionist interests, post-Zionism seeks to challenge what it calls ‘the Zionist narrative’ regarding the study of Israel’s past.
