This article about the issue of childfree uses qualitative methods by analyzing content as the basis for research, includes a discussion regarding childfree itself, the reasons why married couples make the decision to be childfree, and a study of the arguments related to childfree.The research results show that The Qur'an does not prohibit married couples from not having children and childfree also does not impose an obligation to have children
