Allama Shibli Nomani was a famous historian of the subcontinent. His letters to different personalities like Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Nawab Mehdi Ali and Molana Habiburrehman Sherwani, etc, are a master piece in themselves. His letters are written in a comprehensive, lucid and scholarly language. He discussed social, political, educational and scholarly matters in his letters. Some of his letters are romantic.
