His letters to different personalities like Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Nawab Mehdi Ali and Molana Habiburrehman Sherwani, etc are masterpieces in themselves. His letters are written in a comprehensive, lucid, and scholarly language. He discussed social, political, educational, and scholarly matters in his letters. Some of his letters are romantic. His language is literary, simple, and full of sincerity.
