Playing Cards

View through Harvard Museums
A set of seven designs for altered playing cards. Six of Watts' designs were used at the backs for the program of the Fluxorchestra at Carnegie Recital Hall on June 27, 1964, and five of the seven cards have this printing on the verso. The cards were meant as prototypes for a complete deck, which was never produced because Maciunas was unable to find anyone to print the cards cheaply enough.
