Tissue in patterned double fabric of dark brown wool yarn and unbleached loom, both home-spun. The bonade is a reconstruction.
Have double stretchers, a zigzag pattern and inside the square with two different pattern figures (run-duded star and rhomboidal motif formed from flowers?), in the middle mirror rows of double eagles (two next to each other in width). Frances of the Warp. The langette stitch sewn around the edge for the fabric not to go up.
On the back a stitched fabric label with the text: Copy The subject’s species o denomination: Bonad, “Double Eagle” Technology o Size: Finn Tissue 1.95 x 1 m Material: Lin o ull both home-spun. Manufacturer: Annie Johansson, North Bäck, Stenkyrken skn. The Tear’s Hound. County of Bohus.

On the back also sewn patch with the number 2 and paper patch with a lacquer stamp: “UDDEVALLA M (illegible)” shall be MUSEUM. Exhibited at the General Swedish District Agriculture Meeting in Axvall 1935 in class 262 B Section X Group 15 Head of Home. Exhibitors: Göteborgs and Bohusläns Hemslöjingsförening, Askim.
Has another label made of metal and paper clamped on the back, where stands “Dac 54” (old catalog number) and “49954 215.-.”
Holes after insect attack over much of the bonade, most marked with white sewing thread.
