BOTTLE. Low, printed vulsty with a wooden neck and a low foot edge. Decor in black and white under celadone colored glaze. On the shoulder a stretcher of eight chrysanthemum flowers between double stripes. Goryeo (Koryô) was a Korean dynasty founded in 918 by King Taejo. Purchased by Wilhelmina von Hallwyl on 4 March 1930 at Yamanaka & Co Ltd, London, through Orvar Karlbeck for 2 GBP. Bottle. Interior with black and white tie. Goryeo dynasty 12th-13th century.
