Hiroshi Sugimoto created 1980 gift (?); to Eric Zetterquist New York sold; to Sylvan Barnet and William Burto Cambridge (1997-2011) gift; to Harvard Art Museums 2011. [Zetterquist worked in Sugimoto's New York gallery when Sugimoto was a dealer in Japanese art. Barnet and Burto surmise that Sugimoto occasionally gave Zetterquist a print as a gift or in lieu of part of his salary. Per correspondence with donor 2/11.]
