REMEMBERING FRANCES HESSELBEIN: A GREAT AMERICAN SPIRIT

View through CrossRef
AbstractThe author, CEO of Consultex Ltd., a socio‐economic consulting and research firm, and a long‐standing publishing executive, recounts his friendship with Frances Hesselbein, which began when Frances was 98 years old. He notes that he learned right away “one of Frances’ secrets to a long, happy, and engaging life—your age has nothing to do with it; what matters is the enthusiasm and joy you find and put into every day you wake up! She didn’t tell me this—she showed me this—and everyone else who ever was fortunate enough to enter into her realm of being!” He writes that “the more I got to know her and the more we spoke together she epitomized a beautiful spirit that embodied all that was good about America.”
