Մենագրությունում միջնադարյան քրիստոնեական մեկնագիտության և ժամանակակից փիլիսոփայական հերմենևտիկայի տեսաբանների` Ֆր. Շլայերմախերի, Վ. Դիլթայի, Գ. Շպետի, Մ. Հայդեգերի, Հ.-Գ. Գադամերի ու Պ. Ռիկյորի հայեցակարգերի էականորեն նշանա կալի գաղափարների փոխլրացչականությամբ հյուսվող «իսկության հերմենևտիկայի», որի հետևողական կատարելագործմամբ և` «իմաստության հերմենևտիկայի» հայեցա կարգի իմաս տային տեսադաշտում ու հենց հերմենևտիկական մեթոդաբանությամբ` ուսումնա սիրվում է Մովսես Խորենացու «Պատմութիւն Հայոց» աշխատությունը և քննական խորհրդա ծությամբ` հասկացվում ու մեկնորոշվում նրա պատմագիտական հայեցակարգի ու ըստ այդմ` պատմու թյան որպես այդպիսին գոյության իսկությունը հայտող իմաստությունը, ըստ մարդկա յին կարողության:
