Necklace

View through Europeana Collections
Necklace made up of four black leather-covered cords, grouped two by two at their ends by irregular hemispherical bronze pieces. The two upper pieces hold the clasp, while the two lower ones hold the pendant. This consists of two lateral bronze plates with a sinuous profile, joined by means of rings to another much larger metal plate, with a curved profile and lined with black leather. On the plate, there is a flat bronze applique with an irregular silhouette and the initials SN made in gilded metal. The surface of the bronze has a series of pinkish inlays, probably due to the corrosion of the metal.
