Wooden cuts. Pigment on paper. A thin paper, rectangular in shape. Only 17 cms size. The motif depicts two women, both of them sitting hooded. One sewing (?) and the other reviewing textiles. Probably the woman shows her sewing a school.
Attributed to the artist Katsushika Hokusai, who lived between 1760-1849. Usually known only as Hokusai.
Belonged to collection of images 321.å (321.aa) donated to the Ethnographic Museum by Folke Cronholm 940125 decided to incorporate the wooden cuts in collection 1936.21.

Been exhibited in 1968 in the exhibition UKI-YO-E Images of Liquid Life. Has no. 40 in the exhibition catalog.
