Celem artykułu jest spojrzenie na twórczość Edwarda Stachury przez pryzmat geopoetyki. Stachura, jako tłumacz i przyjaciel francuskiego poety i teoretyka literatury, Michela Deguy, który kategorię geopoetyki wprowadził do refleksji literaturoznawczej dziesięć lat przed Kennethem White’m, miał kontakt z żywo obecną we francuskim literaturoznawstwie przełomu lat 60. i 70. ideą związków literatury z przestrzenią geograficzną. Przestrzennego charakteru wyobraźni pisarza chcę dowieść na przykładzie interpretacji powieści Cała jaskrawość, będącą formą artykulacji doświadczenia przestrzeni geograficznej, postrzeganej przez niego jako ogromny potencjał poetycki. Całą jaskrawość odczytuję jako rozwinięcie metafory otwierającej opowieść-rzekę Wszystko jest poezja, której bohater-narrator wchodząc w krajobraz, wie, że jest to niezapisany wiersz; jako poeta potrafi go przepisać z powietrza.
