Watercolor imagining at Berlin 1838 signed Colestin Brügner. The motif shows a view of Havel bei Pichelsw in Berlin. The motif has dimensions of 320 x 450 mm and is “framed by a gold stripe” at a distance of 10 mm. Further of the grey painted outer stretcher is visible inside the stucco frame. Up to and on the sides by 10 mm and down by 450 mm. The frame is plated with a wooden neck. On a field under the motif of the board stands the following text: FR-JAHRS MANÖVER BEI BERLIN 1838. Uebergang des Ost - Corps asks die Havel bei Fichelswerder auf der, unter den Augen SEINER MAJESTAET DES KÖNIGS am 25 den Mai Nachmittags 2 Uhrl geschlagenen Ponton Brücke. One sees in the middle of the watercolour a struck pontoon bridge over which horses are led and soldiers and officers walk. On the other side of the river Havel a field battle is underway. On the river fishing is underway and on the left of the bridge four cannon boats are visible. Nearest in picture are spectators, both civilian and military with ladies dressed in the fashions of the past. Is the majesty on the way Over the bridge moon? Or is it the company that stands by the hitre stronghold? On the back of the board, it is seen that the board has been pasted with stickers. In addition, a patch is strapped with data about Brügner. Dimensions: with frame 500 x 600 mm. The width of the frame 60 mm.
