Zeichenstudie (1969?)
View through Europeana Collections
In four chapters, the animated film experiments with the stylistic devices of the visual arts: form, color and light. "Studie in bunt" is devoted to color and rhythm. "Studie in Kreisen" explores the transition from the abstract to the representational - for example, circles of color become eyes. In "Studie Süd," lines evolve into giraffes, antelopes, and other African animals. "Studie 4" is an "experiment with monkeys". At the end of the film, the abstract forms of the beginning are taken up again.
