Mineral waters field of Sainte-Marguerite are placed in border of the river Allier (Puy-de-Dôme, Massif central, France). Several springs have an authorization to exploit since 1894 but only two springs are bottled nowaday by Intermarché society. Studies realised since 1978 showed that carbogazeuses waters of Sainte-Marguerite are of type bicarbonate chlorinates sodic, the mineralization is acquiered in granitic rock and the CO2 is of deep origin ; the multiannual chemical follow-up of waters of one unexploited borehole in particular the isotopes of the strontium show the chemical constant of the water but leash to suppose the complexity of the field.
