Bazex syndrome in a patient with head and neck malignancy

ABSTRACT Bazex syndrome (acrokeratosis paraneoplastica) is an uncommon dermatologic condition associated with an underlying malignancy, most commonly squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck. This article describes Bazex syndrome in a 56-year-old woman who presented with bilateral cervical lymphadenopathy and a mass at the base of her tongue.
