Pilonoidal Sinüs Tedavisinde Modifiye Limberg Flep Uygulaması Sonuçları

Amaç: Pilonidal sinüs daha çok genç erkekleri etkileyen kronik bir hastalıktır. Konservatif tedavi yöntemleri tarif edilmiş olsa da cerrahi tedavi halen popülerdir. Özellikle flep yöntemleri en çok uygulanan yöntemlerdendir. Bu yazıda kliniğimizde uyguladığımız Modifiye Limberg Yöntemi ile tedavi ettiğimiz hastaların bulgularını literatür eşliğinde uzun dönem sonuçlarını sunmayı amaçladık.
Yöntemler: Nisan 2014 ile Ocak 2016 tarihleri arasında Modifiye Limberg Flep yöntemi ile tedavi edilen pilonidal sinüs hastaları retrospektif olarak incelendi. Hastalar yaş, cinsiyet, ameliyat süresi,komplikasyonlar, nüks ve takip süresi açısından değerlendirildi.
Bulgular: Toplam 63 hastanın 51 tanesi erkek 12 tanesi kadındı. Hastaların yaş ortalaması 26,12 ± 5.45 idi.Yaş aralığı 18 ile 37 arasında değişmekteydi. Ortalama takip süresi 33.7 ± 3.2 (28-42) ay idi. İki olguda nüks saptandı. Bu oran %3.1 idi. Toplam 4 hastada komplikasyon gelişti(%6.3) . Ameliyat süresi ortalama 44.3± 9.4 (36-68 dak.).
Sonuç: Modifiye Limberg metodu, pilonoidal sinüs hastalığının cerrahi tedavisinde göz önünde bulundurulması gereken önemli bir cerrahi metoddur. Kabul edilebilir nüks ve kompilkasyon oranlarına sahiptir.
