Da li je Kant doista ustuknuo?

Polazeći od činjenice da je poglavlje “O transcendentalnoj dedukciji čistih pojmova razuma” iz prvog izdanja Kritike čistog uma Kant zamenio novim tekstom u drugom izdanju te knjige, Hajdeger postavlja tezu da se tu radi o promeni osnova Kantove filozofije. Dok je, prema njegovom tumačenju, u prvom izdanju Kant kao osnov postavio silu uobrazilje, čime je potkopao temelj uobičajenih metafizičkih učenja, u drugom izdanju on je “ustuknuo” pred time otvorenim bezdanom, uobrazilju lišio samostalnosti proglašivši je dejstvom razuma, i time postavio svoje učenje na sigurno tlo metafizike. Analizirajući taj problem ovaj rad dolazi do zaključka da se kod razlike dva izdanja istog poglavlja ne radi o promeni osnova Kantove filozofije, već samo o promeni perspektive razmatranja i svetlosti u kojoj se posmatra i izlaže tema poglavlja, pa u vezi sa tim i o promeni momenta na kojem se demonstrira rešavanje postavljenog problema.
