A disciple of Piet Mondrian of De Stijl fame, Jean Gorin created a body of work in which geometry reigns supreme. However, in 1939, the artist briefly passed through the Paris studio of Anton Pevsner, one of the foremost members of the Russian Constructivist group. The few works he creates there are a perfect fusion of the two.
