In order to provide a comprehensive overview of the complex Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the anthology deals in depth with the numerous problem areas of international law, focusing not only on the analysis of the status question, but also on the consequences of the conflict. The authors examine the events before, during and after the third Nagorno-Karabakh war, i.e. the refugee issue, racial discrimination before the ICJ, human rights violations before the ECtHR, the problem of landmines, the possible prosecution of war crimes, as well as state responsibility for violations of international humanitarian law.
