Concurring Curation for a Poetic GLAM

This article reflects on the integrative practice between galleries, libraries, archives and museums (GLAM). It considers the characteristics, commonalities, differences and distinctions, and convergences and divergences between four constituents: GLAM materials, GLAM users, GLAM professionals, and GLAM institutions. The author ponders on the meanings of archives. They talk about the cognitive, conative and affective modes of meaning construction. They then contemplate the meanings of the Abel Tasman journal of 1642-1643, which is held by a number of GLAM institutions in a range of forms.
