Pilot and industrial testing of the extraction technology for obtaining tantalum oxide from tantalum-containing residues

This paper presents the results of testing the sulfate-fluoride extraction technology for obtaining tantalum oxide from tantalum-containing residues. The scheme of extraction purification of fluorotantalic acid from the solution obtained after fluoride-sulfate opening of iron-titanium cake is shown. The modes of extraction purification of fluorotantalic acid, the content of tantalum in the raffinate and re-extract are shown.
