The “Unknown” Detective Nicken Carter, or the Editions of the American Sherlock Holmes in Bulgaria

The article is an attempt to determine the authorship of part of the works about the well-known detective in the American crime fiction Nick Carter published in Bulgaria in the early 20th century, by employing a deductive approach. The analysis was performed on the basis of comparing the issued books in English, French and Bulgarian.
