View through CrossRef
The Seattle University Law Review has assembled a selection of articles in tribute to the career of Chancellor William T. Allen of the Delaware Court of Chancery. During his time as Chancellor he wrote more than 450 opinions with slightly over half in the area of corporate law. The articles compiled by the Seattle University Law Review and authored by Jesse A. Finkelstein, James C. Freund, D. Gordon Smith, and Eric Chiappinelli seek to capture Chancellor Allen's contribution to corporate law over his twelve years on the bench by delving into disparate aspects of Chancellor Allen's career. This article briefly describes the aspects of Chancellor Allen's career that each author addresses in their individual submissions. Each contribution offers an examination of a different aspect of Chancellor Allen's career on the bench. They are a collective appreciation of the work of Chancellor Allen, and serve as a welcome to him as he undertakes his academic career.
