Present study deals with the biodiversity of Ascomycetes Fungi Hypoxylon in chhatrapati Sambhajinagar District.
Ascomycetes have a diverse habitat. Ascomycetes are economically important. Regular collection and monitoring of samples
were carried out during the study. Identification key and comparative slides were used for identification of fungi. Altogether
Fifty-Five samples were collected from different seven sites. Hypoxylon fragiforme, Hypoxylon howeanum species were
dominant.
