Աշխատությունը նվիրված է 12-րդ դարի պատմիչ Սամվել Անեցու «Հաւաքմունք ի գրոց պատմագրաց…» ժամանակագրության ձեռագրերի ուսումնասիրությանը։ Քննվում են հեղինակային բնագրին վերաբերող, ինչպես նաեւ հետագայում ձեռագրերում կատարված հավելումների հարցերը։ Միաժամանակ ներկայացվում են Մատենադարանում պահվող 16 ձեռագրից քաղված պատմական զանազան տեղեկություններ պարունակող շուրջ երկու հարյուր ժամանակագրական միավոր, անտիպ հիշատակարաններ եւ այլ նյութեր։
