Paola Di Bello - Concrete Island

View through Artsy
To coincide with the solo show Citizens (1988 - 2006) by the artist Paola Di Bello, curated by Francesco Zanot, at Galleria Bianconi in Milan, we are pleased to present the important cycle CONCRETE ISLAND (1996 - 2001), by Paola Di Bello, a series of large size photographs of objects thrown into a dump, abandoned or simply left at some street corner in the suburbs. Through rotation, the objects return to assume the position they had before being thrown away, they become hyper-visible to us.
