AbstractA new feather mite species Dubininia microhieracis sp. n. (Analgoidea: Xolalgidae) is described from the Black-thighed Falconet Microhierax fringillarius (Drapiez) (Falconiformes: Falconidae) from Java. This is the second species of the genus Dubininia found on falconiform hosts; most known species of this genus are associated with parrots (Psittaciformes).
