An analysis of contemporary service level agreement management frameworks

<p>The maturity of cloud computing and the emergence of new related technologies have led to the technological revolution of this previous decade. However, a comprehensive overview is needed to understand the core part of this paradigm, the service Level Agreement (<u>SLA</u>) management. <u>SLA</u> management allows businesses to provide services with measurable metrics. It plays a crucial role in businesses where automated <u>SLA</u> management (SLAM) keeps the service provider in check and allows the consumer to validate the requirements. Automation of SLAM leads to different challenges, including efficiency and robustness for various application areas. Understanding the implementation of various SLAM frameworks gives an overview of different perspectives of the framework. Multiple pieces of research provide solutions for SLAM for different functional scenarios. In this paper, we define a reference SLAM framework; furthermore, we discuss numerous SLAM frameworks considering this reference SLAM framework.</p>
