The ash was easily burnt, with the result that both the body and the glaze have a cream-colored tint and that the glaze has cracked. On the inside are small containers for storing cosmetics for face or hair. White poodle and rouge seem to have been the foundation in makeup for several centuries. The white face preparation, made of rice paste, could contain lead, aluminum, calcium, silicone, magnesium or silver. Rougen was made from the flowers
from the red Indian plant from Gansu province.
