Effect of CPPU and salicylic acid on vegetative parameters of Mango (Mangifera indica L.) cv. Amrapali
View through CrossRef
The present investigation entitled “Effect of CPPU and Salicylic Acid on Fruit Retention, Fruit Quality and yield of Mango (Mangifera indica L.) cv. Amrapali” was carried out at Agriculture Research Station, Banswara, Department of Horticulture, Rajasthan College of Agriculture, Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur during November, 2024 to May, 2025. The twelve treatment combinations of CPPU and salicylic acid were evaluated with three replications under randomized block design (RBD). Theresults exhibited significant effect of various treatment combinations on vegetative, yield and quality parameters of mango cv. Amrapali during investigation. Among the treatment combinations, T12 – (CPPU 20 ppm + Salicylic Acid 200 ppm) was recorded withMaximum shoot length at initial stage (14.21 cm) and shoot length at pea stage (16.48 cm), panicle length (33.82 cm) and width (17.65 cm), intensity of flowering (76.11%), fruit set (1.21%), number of fruit set panicle-1 (21.66), minimum fruit drop (83.56%), highest fruit retention (16.44%) compared to all other treatment during investigation.
