Trials for the helmet from the project 'Casting Spells', wearable objects

Various tests for the helmet from the 'Casting Spells' project. (f) is an engraved test to create the effect of (sun)rays. (g=i) are embroidery tests on different qualities of cotton fabric. (j) various structures have been embroidered on white wool; (k) concerns an embroidery test on acetate with the use of solar yarn. Furthermore embroideries on natural canvas (l), on grey suede (m), which material, embroidered, is also used to get the 3d hat shape. (o) is a model of the cap/helmet in suede with lines indicated in ballpoint pen; (p) is of natural leather, lying flat, embroidered in gold thread whereby different directions have been tested; (q) and (r) are 3d forms of the helmet in natural leather, embroidered, both to be presented on a wooden mould. (q) with bottom edge curling outwards, (r) with bottom edge folded.
