Tear-shaped rock on outer south-east limits of Lordenshaw Hillfort. Seven large cups on lower south face of rock, with two small cups on upper face. Six possible, but unlikely cups on south vertical face. Cup marks are not obvious - mostly small and shallow and do not appear to form a pattern of any kind. Possible cups are much clearer on vertical south edge, although these may be natural. Two natural cracks run lengthways and one across bottom width. A natural depression is in centre of the rock.
