This transfer of meaning is influenced by certain variables: time, place, text, and the sociocultural knowledge of both the source and target audiences. Each language has its own way of expressing itself. Some expressions take on different meanings in different contexts; some also have connotative and denotative meanings. In addition, in the era of globalization, the contextual meaning of words and expressions is constantly changing. In order for a translator to convey this meaning, linguistic and extralinguistic aspects of both languages are essential to understanding. Through translation, the meaning of a word, text, or expression is presented in the context in which it occurs.
