ARTSAKH (KARABAKH) ISSUE IN CHINA'S FOREIGN POLICY

At the end of the 20th century in Artsakh (Karabakh), the local indigenous Armenian population began to fight for independence and against Azerbaijani aggression. The purpose of this article is to study and analyze China's position on the Artsakh issue at various International platforms from 1991 to 2021.
The main task of the work is to present to the scientific and general public the position of the PRC on the Artsakh issue.
The article is based on a combined study of legal facts and the application of the principles of historical analysis.
As a result of the research, it can be argued that China's position on the Artsakh issue is neutral. Moreover, since 1991, China has adhered to the concept that the Artsakh issue should be settled exclusively by peaceful means within the framework of International law.
