Kırım Tatar Türkçesinin modern anlamda bilimsel ilk ağız sözlüğü olan eserde 4500 kelime yer almaktadır. Sözlük, ulusal dillerin tanımlanması ve korunması üzerine çalışan akademisyenlerin yanı sıra, sözcükbilim, lehçebilim, dil bilgisi ve diğer alanlarda dersler alan filoloji öğrencileri için tasarlanmıştır. Eser; ön söz, giriş, sözlüğün yapısı üzerine, kaynaklar, kısaltmalar, ek: annemin şarkıları ve yazar hakkında olmak üzere yedi bölümden oluşmaktadır.
