Application of ubiquitous-based learning in nursing professionalism training at University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University

Introduction: Nursing professionalism is essential content in nursing training. In 2019, this course was implemented by the application of the UBL method at University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University. Objectives: Survey students’ feedback on nursing professionalism courses applied by UBL. Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional design was conducted with 65 nursing students, who participated in a nursing professionalism course. Results: Study time was reasonably arranged (92.3%); teaching facility was suitable (98.5%); 95.4% of students said that “Course materials are adequate”, “information and communication are sufficient” and “Course content is suitable for students”. Regarding the UBL learning method, 100% of
students were interested in this learning method; 70.8% of students didn’t have difficulty in testing UBL and 96.9% of students think that UBL can be applied to university training at University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University. Conclusion: Nursing professionalism is an essential content of nursing education. UBL application for this course has increased teaching efficiency and got positive feedback from students.
