Effective triaxiality of even-even nuclei with quadrupole and octupole deformations

View through CrossRef
A nonadiabatic collective model of nonaxial even-even nuclei with quadrupole and octupole deformations is developed. Transverse quadrupole and octupole deformations are taken into account effectively. And longitudinal deformations are taken into account dynamically. On the basis of the proposed model, an analytical expression for the level energy is obtained containing five adjustable parameters, which are determined from a comparison of theoretical and experimental data. The angular part of the polar coordinates is used as a parameter of an equilibrium state of an even-even nucleus. A good description of the collective states of the yrastband with alternating parity of heavy nonaxial even-even nuclei 150Nd, 152,154Sm, 172Yb, 228,230,232Th, 232,234,236,238U and 240Pu is obtained.
