Strojové vidění je metoda využívající systém jedné či více kamer, pomocí kterého je možné objekty automaticky kontrolovat, analyzovat a provádět s nimi různé pohybové úlohy. Zařízení a senzory zprostředkovávají potřebná data pro řídící systém, kde jsou vyhodnocena pro vykonání úloh pro dané zařízení. 3D vision systémy využívají strojového vidění a jsou integrovány do robotických zařízení, které najdou uplatnění ve strojírenství, automotive a dalších průmyslových odvětvích.
