Two illustrations. The illustraion above is titled 'Fuhui Pusa' (Attending Bodhisattva), and depicts a bodhisattva with halo and a canopy above his head, seated with legs crossed and riding on four dragons. It is copied from mural painting in Cave 257 in Mogao, near Dunhuang in Gansu province, dated to the Northern Wei dynasty (439-534 AD). Artist: Zhang Ding-nan. Printed in colour on paper. The illustration below is titled 'Ji Le Tian' (Celetial Musicians), and depicts four celestial musicians playing differnt musical instruments. Copied from mural painting in Cave 428 in Mogao, near Dunhuang in Gansu province, dated to the Northern Zhou dynasty (557-581 AD). Artist: Dong Xi-wen. Printed in colour on paper.
